Welcome to the Skyhawk Band program under the direction of Emily M. Oyan. We are housed in Skyhawk Alumni Band Hall (SABH), a multi-million dollar state of the art band suite second to none anywhere.
We are a SIXTEEN-TIME Commonwealth of Virginia Honor Band. We are located in Chesterfield, VA (outside of Richmond). Our school has an enrollment of 1, 800 students. Almost 100% of the band seniors attend two or four year colleges or universities after graduation.
Our band has an active travelling history having been to Toronto, Gatlinburg, Myrtle Beach, Atlanta, Orlando, and Chicago.
“The Band with the Sound”, the Skyhawk Marching Band, has performed shows at major College football games including the University of Virginia, Virginia Military Institute, the College of William and Mary, and the University of Richmond.
